Unhappy Help I've just dropped my RIO 500

I dropped my RIO 500 when running on a road. Stupidly i didn't have the case on, (can't remember why) anyway, the problem is now, my external memory (smartmedia 128mb) has only half the memory now, it says that 70mb is taken up, but it's been formatted etc.

    also,
the player itself, when it get's knocked, when i'm running, it turns itself off and back on again.

does anyone have any advice apart from Get a new player?
    ;-)

how do you get inside the player, i had the screws out but couldn't take the cover off.

    cheers
get back soon, i miss my rio :D

    stu...

I had to use a screw driver on the bottom part - have a visit to www.rioworld.org - the forum there has plenty of like minded people

    Hey,

At least you have a reason for your's being out of whack, my Rio 600 has always turned itself on and off, when you bump it.

Then one day the sound became distorted, and that's the end.
