    Sony VGB-XL1B Batch Rip DVD's

    Hey,

I just got a Sony VGB-XL1B from a friend and I am trying to find a program to Batch Rip 200 DVD's and the only Batch ripping program I could find is from dbPoweramp, but I couldn't find any information if it also rips DVD's.
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but could anybody please help me out and tell me if it does rip DVDs?
    I would be really thankful.
    Regards,

dBpoweramp is an application for audio CDs, not for DVDs. For DVDs, I use the following tools:

    - the mediachanger.exe utility by Alex Wetmore ( http://phred.org/~alex/transcode/MediaChanger/ ), a version with a debug by Mediadogg ( http://mysite.verizon.net/vze39sc9/mediadogg/id13.html ). This utility controls the changer itself by command line (e.g. mediachanger next ).

    - then you can use your favourite DVD ripping software (maybe even just copy, and rip from folder, if your software supports that). I'm using DVD Decrypter, ripping each DVD to .iso.

Thank you for the quick respons Porcus.
I downloaded the files you linked, but I can't find the exe file from the MediaChanger. There is one in the Debug folder, but when I open it a black window opens for about a quarter of a second and nothing else happens. Is that what it's supposed to do?
I'm sorry, but I'm new to is whole thing :/

I'm using MyMovies, cause I have it my MediaCenter linked to my Server and MyMovies integrates itself into MC.

It is a command line application; it does not expect to be double-clicked, it expects to be called.

You need to open a command line window (like in good'ole DOS): Hold down the Windows logo key and press R. Type 'cmd' (without quotation marks) and hit Enter. Then you get a command prompt open, and you can start giving commands. If you are new to this, I suggest you move the mediachanger.exe to the root folder c:\ . Then with the command prompt, type \mediachanger (the leading slash will mean it starts looking in the root folder) and it will give you all the options. \mediachanger drivestatus is likely to be the first attempt at getting contact with the device. You might have to turn off Windows' Removable Storage service.
