    custom idtag fields extra functionality

Would love to have ripper be able to add custom IDtag fields in the following manner:

For disc/album: Allow extra field on the metadata review screen OR popup in connection with rip-start. Example use: Enter barcode of album (possibly using a barcode reader attached to usb/keyboard)

For individual DISC of a multidisc album: Example use: Disc title (ie individual Buddha Bar discs have titles "Dinner" and "Dream" and "Joy" etc)

For indivudual track: extra field in the metadata review screen (just add an extra row for each track on screen and it will fit nicely without clutter)

Example use for track: Orchestra and Director (for classical music) or enter tag(s) for each track (ie allow me to specify a home-cooked TAGS-tag: moody, rain, xmas for "Driving home for christmas" by Bruce Springsteen or a custom-made VERSION tag for Toca's Miracle (Impetto radio edit), essentially keeping the title (Toca's miracle) intact across tracks and then having a different version tag specified for the individual tracks (original mix and Impetto radio edit, respectively)

Could be implemented by using the current interface for specifying (fixed) extra IDTAG fields, just prefix content with a dollar for context and questionmark and then the prompt.

I.E. version-tag above would be specified as $track?version
discTitle would be specified as $disc?Title
album barcode could be specified as $album?"Bar Code"

Nothing entered=don't write the tag to the file.

BTW would LOVE to have the option of letting the metadata review screen automatically play music from somwhere in the middle of each track as you move from one track to another with the cursor.
