    Size of the AudioSafe Backup

The Status message of my AudioSafe Client says:
    "100% completed, finished: 9428 files / 465.51 GB"

On my computer however, the music folder which is the source of the backup contains only 9476 files with a size of 231 GB.

The difference in the number of files may stem from the fact that AudioSafe rejects some pdf-files which contain album booklets. But I cannot understand the difference in the size of the backup: it is more than double that of the original folder. On my computer there is no kind of compression installed (except of course the compression that is built into the FLAC audio format itself).

This is not a very troublesome problem, since I do not have to pay for the size of the backup. But I am still amazed about this unexplainable message.

Thanks to everybody who can explain.
