a tiny bug with the genre label

Hi I have noticed a really minor problem in the genre label. it reads the info from the ID tag only(directly from the file), and it doesn't "consult" the mmc. So if you just add a genre in the mmc and then don't rewrite the ID tag, then the genre won't be displayed in a skin....
No big of a deal, not sure if this is a bug at all...
Maybe it should read from the mmc only - so if there are multiple genres selected then it could show them all - of course if the song playing is in the mmc.

This is true for codecs such as Ogg where the tag is at the beginning of the file and updating the tag will fail for the file whilst it is playing.

I'm not sure if you got my question right...
I was talking about the genre label in skin designer. I mean to say that the player doesn't show that info as it maybe should and that this isn't easy to catch 'cause not many skins have the genre label. Am I starting to sound confuzing?

Does it show the correct genre for a track picked randomly from your collection?

Yes it shows the right genre if the genre is in the ID tag.
