Click sound at end of each track when writing audio CD

    Hello,

When I write an audio CD, there is a short click sound at the end of each track, specifically, with 1 second left in the track. I've played the CD back on multiple systems and the click is audible on each system.

Ripped original CD with dBpoweramp to FLAC lossless. Then use dCW to burn a copy. Tried different writing speeds, but made no difference. The click sound is not on the FLAC files. When playing FLAC files back to back, there is no "click" as the player progresses to the next track.

I ripped the CDR (i.e. the CD I made w/ FLAC files). The click is in the audio of each track, 1 second from the end.

So, it appears that dCW is adding the click to the end of each track.

    Any ideas?

dBpoweramp release 14.2, dCW release 4
    windows 7 pro 32-bit
DVD drive appears in Device Manager as HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GWA-4166B ATA Device

    Thanks,

    Phil

You are creating a standard audio cd, or an mp3 cd?

Standard audio cd. Using the "Standard Audio CD (74 min)" template.

Also, I tried another CD burning app using the FLAC files created with dBpoweramp. That CD was OK.
