How do I re-install Asset

Hi I have recently installed Asset on my WHS 2011 server and it was great. I moved some music files on the server and it all started to go wrong. First of all Asset was continuously saying it was updating the library a nd said ? out of 178 files found (the ? is mine I cannot remember exact message. And it hung like this, even if I restarted the server. There are over 10,000 music files in the monitored folders.
So I thought I should reinstall Asset to fix the problem.

I uninstalled it and all seemed fine until I tried to reinstall it. even though it is uninstalled I keep getting the message that Asset is already installed on the server and attached devices. How do I overcome this please? its driving me mad.

You are best to uninstall Asset, reboot the server then reinstall. Then do a Refresh All to rescan the full database.
