Update to R14.3
FLAC defaults to non map Comment, Conductor, also new TRACKTOTAL and DISCTOTAL tags are written
FLAC better handles custom multiple item tag values
AIFF able to decode id3v2.4 tags
CD Ripper - prevent auto run removed in Windows 7 (not needed any more as cds are not autorun by default)
Bug Fix: CD Ripper - correct musicbrainz ngs mapping ' to '
Bug Fix: 64 bit tag editor, if file cannot be written then says so
Bug Fix: Configuration Property Handler, it was stil changing the explorer tag pane for disabled extensions
At this time I do not anticipate any further modifications for R14.3, a couple of months beta and it can release fully.

I do not get this, you mean if you right click on file >> edit id tags then add a new tag and look at the drop down menu?

These MP3s where ripped from previous beta version of db and read correctly. Now, when I right click on any track and use Edit ID-Tag from this new beta those three tags read wrong now.
Also, if I use Mp3tag they read correctly.
Please email one mp3 file:

Also noticed on my last two Rolling Stones CDs the composer info isn't being downloaded from any listed on PerfectMeta.

Got the file, the tag is corrupted, if you look at it in a hex editor, you can see:
Encoder ncoder in the tags
what is intersting that the last tags to be written are 'Windows Media Player 9 Series', I think that WMP has corrupted the tags, as it is known to corrupt TXXX tags (which are free form comment tags).

I just ripped another stones cd with the new beta and repeated what was done and the tags look fine. But, the tags looked fine on the previous beta as well..
I have thousands of CDs I've ripped. This may be the first time I've come across something like this.

In the background of Windows, Windows Media Player will silently scan and update the tags (and corrupt them)
That file you sent to me, look at it again in mp3tag, it will no longer be correct.

You have to set the files to read only to make sure WMP does not touch them.
