Bit depth settings in DSP Effects greyed out

    Hello,

I notice the bit depth settings in DSP Effects are greyed out not allowing me to adjust the dither when I convert to 16bit.

    Any reason why?

    Thanks

That would require Reference to do dither.

    Hi,

And how would I do that? Is that a DSP effect?

What I would ultimately like to do is convert 24/96 files down to 16/44 files without clipping.

I have the full version. The Registered Power Pack 14.2 from a lifetime license going back to 2006 with many of the codecs and CD Ripper installed.

I know I've been away from this forum for a long time now, but is this something relatively new?

Reference is a different version, one with more features and codecs.

Ah, I see what you're saying. There were actually three versions of this product when I thought there were only two. Like I said, I haven't been here for a long time.

Well I'll probably upgrade here shortly and reopen this thread when I do. Ok?

    Thanks.
