    MusicConverter.exe Runtime Error!

    Trying to convert 70,000 mp3 files at once gives the following error

    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: ...ram Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp\MusicConverter.exe
    This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
    Please contact the application's support team for more information.
    Converting 50,000 files works ok with MusicConverter using around 1GB memory

    Is there a limit on how many files can be converted, or on how much memory dMC can use?

    Win7 64bit, i7-920, 6GB

    Perhaps there is a limit, as Music Converter has to read all the ID Tags into memory to figure out filenames before conversion. Until Converter goes 64 bit (in R15) there will always be this limit.

    The other 20K tracks convert ok?

      Yes the other tracks convert ok.

      I always wondered why dMC takes so long to start converting! Is it necessary to read all tags into memory if the filenames are not going to change? Why not read the tag of each file just before conversion?
