ALAC as Open Source
Now that ALAC is open source is there any plans to include it natively?
I have one Library that is ALAC and I'd like to use your ripping software with Acuraterip to maintain new additions with.
I also have a requirement from time to time to batch convert titles from my ALAC to a 2nd AAC library used with itunes & Ipods.
(I used this as a trial once before and it worked flawlessly, however when now revisiting it, it does not seem able to load the AAC module)
Should I wait for the next update that my have ALAC & AAC native before evaluating/purchasing your product?

Re: ALAC as Open Source
ALAC (Apples open source version) will be added shortly, AAC is not part of the recent Apple OS initiative.

Hi Spoon,
Do you have a rough estimate on the target release date for this update?
Thanks.

(Yes, I know it'll probably work just fine with the reverse-enigeered version, but if the real deal is out there, and this is clearly a "do it right the first time" undertaking with 300+ CDs, might as well do it right!)
Can't wait, and the sooner the better! (I'll have lots of free time, for example, over Thanksgiving break. Hint hint!)
