I love the fact that backing up is free. How much will restoring cost?
Thanks,
Leon

Still not decided, it is possible that it might be - to restore 100GB $25
It seems to be inexpensive.
Hmmmm... my collection is 3TB and growing, so if it goes kaput I'm going to need $750? I think I'd rather buy HDs.
Almost worth it if you think about the bother of constantly updating your collection to offsite storage as you continue to add new music. I don't expect to need the service, but if something catastrophic happens -- e.g. house burns down -- it is a nice insurance to have at least the digital part of my music collection in a restorable location. Of course, that assumes that the service continues, is successful, and has a business model that won't hold your music collection hostage at mafioso prices in the future. Hopefully, there are some revenue streams that might accrue from other uses of the data that will make the costs more reasonable.
We will launch at $5 per 100GB to restore, so is $50 to restore 1TB
That seems quite cheap. I guess the key question is how the restore is accomplished. A streaming download would likely take quite a while, but could be price inexpensively if automated.
For those of us who may be extremely impatient to get all our music back after a catastrophe, perhaps you should consider an option to ship the music on an external hard drive? Figure something like $100 for a 1TB drive with all the music on it, plus a core charge for the drive that will be refunded upon return receipt of the drive?
