I have lots of .m4a files encoded at a very high bitrate with AVS, yet for some reason the pop-up tips that show on mouseover say they are 0kbps... is there any way I can fix this?

What do the m4a files contain, aac?

Yup, good ole low efficiency AAC.
I am guessing if you tried to convert one of the files to wave, it cannot read any audio from the file?

Actually converting the files to wave using dbpoweramp is not a problem (just tried).
