    Converting from FLAC to M4A

Hi, I want to see what the quality/size of 256k AAC is like in comparison to my normal lossy format (160k VBR MP3) but it's not clear which codec I need from this page.

Am I right in thinking that the first codec, "m4a, mp4, m4b (decoder AAC & Apple Lossless) & Apple Lossless Encoder" is the one that comes pre-installed with 14.1? I have Apple Lossless already as an option to convert.

If that's the case, do I only need to install "m4a Nero AAC Encoder" to perform this conversion? Currently my collection is archived in FLAC (multiple files).

I don't like installing things if I can avoid it so if I can identify which I need in advance I'd appreciate the help.
