Ripping LP to FLAC than dMC to add replayGain tags to FLAC files

Hello All, I am really new to all this, I use VinylStudio to rip LP's to FLAC than use dMC as a FLAC to FLAC converter to add replayGain tags to the FLAC files as VinylStudio does not have replayGain functions. It does take some time as dMC rebuilds the FLAC files and adds the replayGain tags. Am I changing the VinylStudio FLAC file beyond just adding replayGain tags to it? I mean FLAC to FLAC should be the same but with replayGain tags added. Is there an easier way to do this? Thanks

There is no detriment to the audio converting Lossless >> Lossless, but as you suspect it is not needed. Click Codec Central Above >> Utility Codecs and install the ReplayGain utility codec, then you convert your FLAC files to this [Replay Gain] codec and it just calculates and stores the replay gain values.
