Post Cannot add ReplayGain to some files

Hello, I use ReplayGain Utility but it seems that some files have problem with ReplayGain tags. The operation is done but after I see some files' meta, they don't have ReplayGain tags inside.

You are saying replaygain works mostly, except for a few files where no tags are written?

Yes, almost all files are fine. Only some files cannot add ReplayGain.

Perhaps the files, ?mp3 tracks, have id3v2.4 tag which are not supported

I think you're right. I just used Audio Info Utility to get information about all my music files. Here is the screenshot.

What can I do with those files if I want ReplayGain to work. Conversion sometimes help but I don't want to alter the audio content.

Those files have an ID3v1 tag which cannot hold replaygain, so you need to update the ID Tags to v2.3, there is an [Update ID Tag] utility codec:

    http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm

Use Batch Converter, select all you mp3 files (there is a filter option), and convert all the files which are having troubles to [Update ID Tag] and it will auto update from id3v1 to id3v2.

Thank you, I'll try and post the result soon.
Updating tags will not affect audio content. Is it right?

After I have updated ID Tags, it seems like the problem is gone.
Thank you everyone for fast and helpful support :smile2:
