    Downsample/Converting 24/192 or 24/176 FLAC

    Greetings,

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't find it. I want to down-sample 24/192 and 24/188 FLAC files purchased from HDTracks down to 24/96 and 24/88 FLAC or WAV. Will dBp do this?

    Thanks!

    Rob

Yes, you can do this. Just make sure you don't overwrite the originals.

I right clicked on an HDTracks.com track (copy) and selected Convert To. In the dialog that comes up I added two DSP's (Add button). The first is the Bit Depth DSP and I set the depth to 16-bit, the second was the Resample DSP that I set to 44.1 kHz. That produced a CD quality FLAC file.

In your case, just use the Resample DSP to convert down to 96 or 88 kHz.
