R13 Batch Converter truncating long pathnames

I'm finding Batch Converter R13 Batch Converter truncating long pathnames.

Including omitting folder levels entirely, so I don't like to think what happens in the even of file/subfoler name clash.

There is no warning/error. THis is on Win XP Pro SP2.

    My questions:

    1) Any way to get BatchConverter to give a warning/error on this?
    2) Else any other way to get it to automatically skip paths it cannot handle?
    3) What is the maximum GUARANTEED SAFE path length for Batch Converter?

    Thanks.

260 characters is the safe limit for Windows, it is clamped (dbpoweramp could handle 65,000 chars), but Windows explorer will not be able to browse to the files or delete them, hence the limit.

I don't need WE on these files so would like the option to remove that clamp.
