    Question Apple Lossless m4a to FLAC conversion fails

    Hi,

    am a newbie to Apple Lossless. I have many M4a files without DRM which I'm trying to convert to FLAC. Have installed m4a and flac codecs. After conversion, the flac files are 99% digital hiss and 1% music source. What could I be doing wrong have checked advanced settings but cannot resolve the conversion issue.

    Try converting to wave as a test and play in Windows Media Player.
