.wav on local hd to new nas in flac

I have ripped all my cds in .wav on my local hard drive. I am now getting a
Synology nas for our home network and building a music server.

I would like to convert the .wav files to flac and move them to the M drive which will be the nas. Can this be done in one process? Or do I have to do each cd separately?

    Happy Holidays,

    Jeff

You would be best to convert them all locally on the computer (there is a program called Batch Converter which will do this, with dBpoweramp), then copy the files to the NAS.

      Thanks Spoon,

I did this with one cd and now have a .wav and a flac of all songs on that cd. Did I do something wrong or do I have to manually delete the wav files?

There is a DSP effect called 'Delete Source File' use it carefully when converting.
