Not sure, whether I should update with the abovementioned bugfixed version - installation window tells me, that I will be installing 1.4beta over existing 1.4
Which one is the newer one?

R1.4 has never been released, so it was always a beta

I'm having problems with Batch Ripper, it stops responing (Application Hung), usually after 30-45 minutes of ripping and during 2 or more finished rips at the same time (I don't think it has to do with the actual unloading (more that one at the same time) but maybe some writing to a logfile maybe?

I'm running both BatchRipper Beta & Music Converter 14.1 Beta. But I've hade the same problem with the previous versions.

I'm using several CD/DVD drives in the same machine (same model on all drives).

In this instance I would check the Configuration option 'Keep Unload Order Same as Load', this will stop both ejecting at the same time, which seems to be an issue on your system.

That doesn't solve the problem and it will also slow down the Ripping, are currently ripping about 140 CD's/h in WMA Lossless. I have a crash dump if that would help in solvning the problem, but it's 64-bit, is that a problem?

Hi Spoon, would you, kindly, consider adding this:
Use case: I wanted to convert some cbr mp3 (320kbps) to vbr (lame, v2). The "problem" was selecting those mp3s. Not that it's impossible, it's just that it could be more user-friendly/efficient. Currently, I have to use the Batch Converter to do that, sort by the bit-rate column header (so far so good) and check
