Windows XP SP3.
According to the Help files under "Options" there should be a facility to "Configure Secure Ripping".
I cannot find this option and Spoon won't tell me if it should be available in the trial version.

If this is your first trial or your trial has not expired, then yes, full functionality should be there.

It is not a case of me not telling you, rather directing your question to the correct channels.

Thank you for confirming that I should have full functionality Elic.
My trial has only been running for a couple of days.
I have successfully ripped a couple of CDs so I guess the installation is OK - so - does anyone have any ideas?
Spoon has kindly confirmed (I think) that this (the Forum_) is the place to seek enlightenment.
Run dBpoweramp Configuration, this will show if trial is activated or not.
If you have had a previous dBpoweramp install (R12, R13) then the trial would be used.

Registration appears to require a code which will only be supplied after purchase.
I cannot tell from Configuration if the trial is activated or not.
I do not have any previous version - this is my first encounter with this software.
start menu > programs > dbpoweramp music converter > configuration > dbpoweramp configuration
it will be right there at the top what version and if its registered or trial etc
Thank you Teknojnky & Spoon.
dBpoweramp Configuration shows "Unregistered Trial - 16 days remaining".
When I go to register it specifically states that and I quote:
"All programs have a full trials, before purchasing check the program functions as required ......".
Apart from not being able to register the product without apparently making a purchase why should I need to?
What does "All programs have full trials" mean?
I am dazed and confused and it's getting to be so long it's not true!
the registration page is for when you have already purchased.
its where you go to download the programs you purchased.
you do not need to go there to register anything for the trial.
the program you have already installed is the full product that will at the end of the trial period will revert to the 'free' version.
I am not sure why your confused, just use the program and if it meets your needs then you can decide to purchase the applicable version from the website.
Keep in mind that the 'reference' version is the most expensive and has the most features, so be sure to check out the 'version' page and determine which features you require.

The trial should be active, make sure that the account you are running in is an Administrator account (rather than Limited User Account).

Thank you again Teknojnky & Spoon.
I am running in my Administrator account and I do want the "Reference" version.
I appreciate confirmation that the trial version is the full product.
Unfortunately none of this has helped with my problem, i.e. The facility to "Configure Secure Ripping" is not there at all even as a grayed out option.
The options menu has 2 buttons, a drop menu and the main button, you are clicking the main button?
