Thanks for taking the time to explain. I suppose as long as the various drive parameters for ripping are set up correctly, the different drive should still give a quality rip.

Dear Spoon,
I replaced the TEAC drive after having the same issue CD stuck inside and strange noises while ejecting but fails to eject even by pressing the pinhole of the
TEAC many times till the CD came out.
The replaced Drive similar to the TEAC made in china works fine but won't eject unless i press on the eject button, which is impossible to press it once
everything is placed inside the box. Any ideas or things to try ?

You would have to try the burst ripping mode (non-secure).

I also have the eject problem from time to time.
What helps for me: use the eject WHS command via remote desktop. The CD always comes out.
