If these are other than 16 bit, 2-channel, 44.1 kHz files, you may need to use the DSP effects to help adjust the bit setting, sample rate and changing the number of channels. The difference in the track time for the converted .flac files suggests that that the source of your problem is there. dB CD Writer can convert these files to standard CD format but you will probably need to use the applicable DSP effects to help the conversions work out
Another possibility might be that your .flac files are corrupted which can be checked using the .flac front-end decoder.
