    Can't submit metadata to AMG/Freedb

    Hi,

It seems that, when I have a CD with no metadata available from any source, after writing all the metadata, I still can't submit them to AMG or Freedb. The options remain greyed out under Meta > Submit Changes to.

It looks like this option is only available if I changed existing metadata. Am I missing something?

    Thanks!

Re: Can't submit metadata to AMG/Freedb

I have noticed this from time to time. I don't know why it happens, but one thing that seems to "un-ghost" the submit opttions is to make a slight change to the metadata -- say deleting the last number of the release year -- and then change it back.

Once I do that, the options to submit to freedb or AMG are no longer grayed out.

You're right, it works. It's really weird. This doesn't happen systematically.

      Thanks!

Re: Can't submit metadata to AMG/Freedb

One could argue endlessly about the format of track and title data, such as whether to spell out "opus" or abbreviate it, or, even if to abbreviate it, whether to include a period or not, but sometimes the metadata in the various sites is off and wrong. In this case, there is no data at AllMediaGuide of Freedb, so it is impossible to submit any changes. The GD3 site had inaccurate info, but there is no option to submit to them. Is there no way to submit new data via dB? I posted a composite screenshot on Facebook so I could show the difference, but it did not appear in my post. Where do images need to be posted to include here successfully?

It is not possible to submit to all services.

HowTo submit metadata to AMG/Freedb - located in CD Ripper Options

              1. push the button "Options" in dBpoweramp CD Ripper
--> IMPORTANT: the big main button, that's the only thing to know...

              2. here ist the place to change "CD Ripper Options"
              3. under "AccurateRip" focus on: "Send Results to Online Database"
              4. klick "Submit"
---> HERE you can set how often automatic submit happens (number of days).
              Additional: "Submit now"

              deutsche Version:
              Hallo,
habe nach langer Suche die Lösung:
              1. Den Button "Options" (mit den Steckern drauf) in dBpoweramp CD Ripper anklicken
--> ACHTUNG: den großen Haupttel des Buttons, nicht den Pfeil daneben !!!

              2. Hier befinden sich die Einstellungen (CD Ripper Options)
              3. Unter dem Menüpunkt "AccurateRip" steht:
              Send Results to Online Database
