    Need Help with Folders

Hello I'm New here & need some help converting.
I have a batch of Flac files & want to convert them to .WAV.
I'm not having any problem converting but need some help on the renaming of the files. I have been using the line option

    [artist]\[album]\[track] - [title]

& this seems to work OK on most of them as long as it is a single folder but when I have a folder that has sub folders for CD1, CD2,CD3 it will rename all the files OK but it puts them all in one folder so there is (01 - Song.WAV, 01- thatsong.WAV, 01 - thissong.WAV & 02 - whatsong.WAV, 02 - hersong.WAV ETC ETC)
I would like to keep the same folder structure that the file originally were in.

I hope this makes sense what I wrote & appreciate any help
    Thanks

I am not entirely sure why you want to convert from FLAC to WAV. But if you want to the converted files to mirror the folder structure of your source files, you can use [originpath]\[originfilename]

I do know how to do that but What I want to do is rename the files and folders like this

      [artist]\[album]\[track] - [title]

This works fine when I have a single folder but my problem is when I have sub folders in the original, the sub folders are not created and all the files from CD1, CD2, CD3 are all put in one folder.
      Thanks for the reply BTW,

I do not think it is possible to keep the last subfolder only with dynamic naming.

          Re: Need Help with Folders

I don't understand why is it so hard to keep the same folder structre as the origanal. I was looking in the forums to find out how to do it & one of the things I came across was this.?

          [IFCOMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],Various Artists[]\[album]\[track] [artist][][IF!COMP][IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[artist][]\[album]\[track][] - [title]

I tried this first & it did make some sub folders but it also didn't make them right but I figured with all the values there must be some thing that will work right, I just don't understand them all. I mean it's such a simple thing to change Maybe I'm not explain right. I have Example

          E:\MP3's\TO Covert\Nirvana FLAC\Nirvana - With The Lights Out [Boxed Set] - FLAC\Disc 1
          01. Nirvana - Heartbreaker (Live, 1987, first Nirvana show).flac
          02. Nirvana - Anorexorcist (Radio Performance, 1987).flac
          Ect.....
          E:\MP3's\TO Covert\Nirvana FLAC\Nirvana - With The Lights Out [Boxed Set] - FLAC\Disc 2
          01. Nirvana - Opinion - Solo Acoustic, 1990.flac
          02. Nirvana - Lithium - Solo Acoustic, 1990.flac
          ETC......

          & I want to make

          E:\MP3's\Converted\Nirvana\With the Lights Out\Disc 1
          01 - Heartbreaker (Live, 1987, first Nirvana show).wav
          02 - Anorexorcist (Radio Performance, 1987).wav

          E:\MP3's\Converted\Nirvana\With the Lights Out\Disc 2
          01 - Opinion - Solo Acoustic, 1990.wav
          02 - Lithium - Solo Acoustic, 1990.wav

          When I try to use

          [artist]\[album]\[track] - [title]

          It just makes

          E:\MP3's\Converted\Nirvana\With the Lights Out - Disc 1
          01 - Heartbreaker (Live, 1987, first Nirvana show).wav
          02 - Anorexorcist (Radio Performance, 1987).wav
          01 - Opinion - Solo Acoustic, 1990.wav
          02 - Lithium - Solo Acoustic, 1990.wav

With the versatility of the commands there just has to be a way to make it work right.
          I could just use

          [origpath]\[origfilename]

and remane every thing by hand but I figure there must be a way to do it right.

          Thanks

            Would adding:

            \Disc [disc]

            to the end help?

              [artist]\[album]\[track] - [title]\Disc [disc]

It did help but made 2 separate folders

With the Lights Out - Disc 1

With The Lights Out [Disc 2]

is there a way to make one main folder

              With The Lights Out

              That has

              Disc 1 & Disc 2 contained inside?

It's not that bad I guess I can edit them by hand if needed

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it

The trouble is your discs has [disc x] in the album title.
