    New User - Favourites Facility

Started usinf asset yesterday, as I want to keep TVersity for MP3s and video, and have Asset for my Linn DS

I want to listen to BBC radio, particularly Radio 3 128k stream.

I can find BBC radio 3 and stream it, but it say its a 48k stream, and also, its a long way down the menu structure.

    How do I
    1. set up asset to use the 128k Radio 3 stream
    2. jump to Radio 3 without going through miles of menus - i.e. I'd like a favourites button somewhere!

Using Plug Player and Kinsky Desktop as controls, so far, looking for something better, may buy songbook, but its silly money!

Outside of FLASH the BBC only stream in 48K

In the Asset manual is a section on storing your favourites in Asset.

I can stream to my musicpal radio from the bbc at 128k, using the url

      *blooper*EXTINF:-1,Radio3 high quality direct
The best of the BBC, with the latest news and sport headlines, weather, TV & radio highlights and much more from across the whole of BBC Online

if I made this a playlist within asset would it then play via my Linn DS?

(sorry if I'm demonstrating my lack of understanding and knowledge here!)

That stream is not available through radiotime which we sign upto. Then the DS is able to play wma streams direct, you could place that url in a playlist.
