'Unable to start CD Burning' in Win 7 64 bit?

    Hi folks,

Someone really doesn't want me to burn CDs! fb2k's burninator, nope, Nero 8, nope (for FLACs) and now dbPoweramp CD Writer.

I've set it to Vista SP2 compatibility mode, Run as administrator.

I hit Burn and get the usual settings, then hit Start Burning and get the error message.

Nothing else, it doesn't even start spinning the CD up!?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Paul.

What about Windows Media Player? but with that many programs there is something blocking it.

Well burninator is a documented bug on Win 7. Nero 8 I just can't find a FLAC plugin.

Nero 8 actually works fine with WAV files, I just can't find a plugin.

CD Writer just doesn't do anything.

Is there no debugging or logging happening that I can check?

No logs, it either works or does not.
