    UPnP streaming system question

    Hi,

If i want to stream music to a UPnP renderer such as a NaimUniti, and all my music is just stored on my PC, do I need any other UPnP software apart from Asset?
Can you browse your music library, create playlists, and 'push' them out to UPnP devices using Asset?

    Cheers
    Tom

You need a control point, software to add the tracks to the unity (perhaps the unity has one built in if it has a screen?)

I think the NaimUniti does function as a control point.
Are there any control point software for PC that are flexible for use with different UPnP renderers, or do they have to be tailored to a specific device? Do they also have to be compatible with a specific UPnP audio server software like Asset?

      Thanks

        There are generic ones, try:

Download the latest software & apps you need to control and manage your Linn system.
