I need to re-install dBpoweramp, My question might have been answered in FAQ, but how do I activate AMG acess? Do I still have AMG activated if I just install dBpoweramp + the codecs I use.
O r do I nned to download a new AMG acess file with my name and pass or can I use the old one (not 365 days old yet.)

    Re: re-install

Re-issue registered version of dBpowerAMP can be downloaded from this page:

(clicking the above link from your email program might not open the link, copy and paste it into the title bar).

Enter your Order reference / receipt number when asked, a download link is then presented. Lost your order number? visit the above link to lookup.

Noting PerfectMeta (AMG) activation is under the main download link, where eligible.

      Re: re-install

Ok I tried but i didnt worked to edit my message above but I did like this, hope it is correct

I login on registration with my ordernumber and got a new AMG license after writing words in the wordbox, then I Go to the download for dBpoweramp, clicked so I got the registred version, login on my account with e-mail etc, then I write the words in the box and I got the download links. Is this correct?. And I got a new file with registred version ?

Then I install dBpoweramp and the codecs, after that I activate AMG license after the installation of the ripper/converter and codecs ?

          Re: re-install

One more question I have changed my DVD drive. In my new driver I got around 1024 kb buffer size in cache, (not sure exactly size)
That i changed to 0 (because at least from what i have read in guides and have seen in other peoples rips) the cache shall be none/zero/disabled, is it correct to change it to zero even if I got another setting before ?

            Re: re-install

The cache size is specific to the model of the drive. Your AMG should be a link below the main download (R13 in your instance), have a look at the bottom of the page just before clicking the download link. Note that upgrades (R12 >> R13) do not come with AMG.

So I shall change back to the size I got first of the cache ?

1024 is the easy option to set, you cannot go wrong with that.

                  Hi
OK I tried to detect drive read cache http://i44.tinypic.com/2rm03mv.png, http://i43.tinypic.com/xni1hc.jpg it says this http://i43.tinypic.com/ru75u8.png
It says the same even if i put 1024 KB and detect again.
Maybe it is ok to have none cache because I got accurate rip when I rip a CD

here is the message I got when i First used the drive (this is from another drive I got)

Is it possible to re configure the drive with accurate rip ?
The drive I use is an TSSTcorp - CD/DVDW SH-S182D

Does the settings on the drive in dBpoweramp affect some other program like Nero burning ROM ?

The ripper rips only one pass and then encodes where do I find setting for second pass ?

                      Re: re-install

The cache is needed for when the drive re-reads a bad section, the value is not used when detecting the cache, see the setup guide here:

                        Re: re-install

OK I try to check it tomorrow.
But you forgot to answer if the setting in cache has some affect in other program like Nero Nurning Rom.

and why does my DVDR drive (the new one),
when I try to detect drive cache, the answer I got is Drive not appear to cache, no cache clearing will be used, is this some wrong in my settings ?
( I changed cache to 1024 KB manually)
and is it possible to get configure accurate rip message again so it check the offset + more in my drive ?

And how do I get the ripper to rip a second pass ?
It ripped a second pass before, but it was before i did re-installation ..

                          Re: re-install

Any settings in dBpoweramp only relate to dBpoweramp, Nero is independant.

There is no need to re-find the offset of your drive.

A second pass is not required if AccurateRip verifies the rip.
