configuring Batch Ripper to use CD Ripper settings?

I use CD Ripper, and the only small issue I have with it is that it won't start ripping upon inserting a new CD. So I read that to get that tiny feature, I need to used Batch Ripper. OK, so I try BR, and I notice it uses CD Ripper, but ignores the way I had CDR set up (format, path, name), AND when I close BR and reopen CDR, indeed all my my settings were changed by BR. How can I get BR to use my preferred CDR settings?

    Thanks!

(I noticed that if I have CDR open and then start BR, BR only changes the path in CDR, it leaves my format and filename setup -- I'd prefer to be able to ensure that BR does what I want, regardless....)

Please somebody help -- batch ripper isn't useful to me so long as it ignores my directory settings -- I shouldn't have to rip and then move the files....

In Batch Ripper is the profile at the top, this is the profile as used b CD Ripper.

Ah ha! The profile is key -- THANKS!

(Just curious, does it say that somewhere in the help, that I missed -- that BR uses CDR's profiles? Where?)

    I agree.
    I find it confusing.

    I have a folder called d:\gaye, marvin
    I created 2 sub folders
    one
    D:\Gaye, Marvin\Let's Get it On
    other
    D:\Gaye, Marvin\What's Going On
I have two cd drives, each with the respective cd.
So how do I set it where cd drive E goes to What's going on
And CD drive F goes to Let's get it on?

The dynamic naming will create folders depending on the disc name automatically.

    Spoon,
Using what you said and some of the above, I figured it out.
So I'll explain it to others:
When you click on Batch ripper, you'll see profile.
    It should say "Default".....
Click on edit and it will bring up the rip for the first cd.
Under folder type the following (Assuming you want to rip to the d:\gaye, marvin folder)
d:\gaye, marvin\[album] <----(Yes you must type "[album]") which will then make it the variable that spoon is talking about
Then those two discs will rip to their respective album name automatically because, as Spoon stated, it will use the album name created by Freebd or whatever you choose to use.
    Hope this helps.
And obviously, any time of "[ ]" will become a variable for that respective cd

One follow up question: What if the album reads as Marvin Gaye, but I want to reverse it so that the folder that comes up is d:\gaye, marvin ?
Is there a value that reverses the name of the artist?

There is no easy solution to reversing, half the artist would be right, half would be wrong (ones where you cannot reverse: Ah Ha, Spandel Ballet, Dr Dre...)
