I've sometimes wondered if you need a total of three or three in a row.

If RipNAS essentials is purchased (the secure version) the AccurateRip is hard coded to auto-configure with the correct offsets. We make no such offer for a non-WHS PC. Each time AR is updated (the database) around 200 new drives appear, so it is possible to get new drives configured in AR, just need to be 'lucky' with the CDs.

I use ImgBurn's "Tools/Filter Driver Load Order..." menu item (with the Copy To Clipboard button) to generate a list of potentially conflicting filter drivers that may be impacting optical disc IO, e.g. on my thinkpad:

All of the above appear not to conflict, at least on my win xp pro thinkpad t60p.

    Hi Brendan,

Sorry for the late bump. Thanks for the reference to ImgBurn to list the filters nicely. However, once listed, you did not say how to determine from the list whether or not there is a conflict. Could you please elaborate?

    Thanks!
    Bruce

Re: AccurateRip + USB Teac Drive not working

    Bruce,

The right thing to do takes some technical know how. The general advice I'd give is this: if the filter driver isn't installed/owned by microsoft, uninstall it by uninstalling the software that it came with or, alternately, using google to research any special uninstallation instructions that might be necessary.

If you post the results of your filter check, we might be able to give you good advice, some guesses, or somewhere in between...
