    Setting up genres

    Does anyone know if I can set up my own genre categories? This would be very helpful for classical and jazz. I would like to be able to set up for example:

    Classical - Chamber
    Classical - Orchestral
    Classical - Sonata

    I accept that this causes a problem with the drop-down list of genres in CD-Ripper, but it is still useful. It would be useful if the list box was sized to the longest name when dropped, but I suspect that will never happen. The list of genres at present contains lots of irrelevant stuff for me, and very little that is relevant.

    Start --> Run --> "%appdata%\dBpoweramp"
    Open up genres.txt and add in there what you want.

    Lt, you are a star; thank you very much. From my perspective dBpoweramp seems better and better, and I thought it was good as soon as I used it.

    Thanks again,
    Arthur.
