System Freezing In Vista
I have found that when ripping cds that may have some scratches etc. db ripper struggles a bit (which I can understand) but then my pc totally freezes.
This is a new computer and only happens when running dbpoweramp in ripping mode.
Any thoughts..I really done like having to do hard reboots

(the short version is: in Vista or XP: either the CPU is overheating, or there is a driver or hardware issue).

weird..its a new system and no otehr burning software is on it besides dvd decryper...i have a cpu monitor and it never gots above 40%
it hangs on non enhanced cds and even whne i click the meta data button??

Did you try dMC before DVD Decrypter?
Desktop or laptop? System specs?

So far I have used it to Rip 700 cds and ist has hung up about 10 or so times??

Look in event viewer to see if anything is marked as error in there.
