Question Colon in title causes problems

I have albums with a colon ':' in the title (of a WMA file), if I use a naming pattern that includes the title I get some very strange behaviour (basicallly a single track on the CD for the album with no file extension). I know that colon is a drive designator in PCs. I don't know if other characters will also cause problems. The WMAs convert to MP3s fine in the temp directory with the title intact, but when the CD emerges things are not good.

Are there any plans to address this issue or is there a workaround (other than for me to check all 15,000 tracks for odd characters and remove them ;-)

    Ah.

    Release 13 Beta.

Perhaps that's my answer. I'd completely forgotten I was running a beta. Should I uninstall and use version 12?

Te other thing to note is that the title was very long. Specifically:

Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best of George Michael [Bonus Tracks] Disc 2

If you have R13 (even beta) you can right click on the CD track listing (on the track title at the top and switch on the Filename), this will show the final filenames before ripping.

Sorry, you've lost me. I'm not ripping I'm writing. I can't see a way to preview the actual MP3 names that will be written to the CD.
