    delete naming conventions

How do I delete a Naming Convention that I no longer want to use?
I have tried to select the naming convention and then right click and click Delete but the naming convention seems to stay in the list.
What do I need to do to finally delete old unused naming conventions?
    Thanks,
    Chip

They will be stored in the registry HKCU\Software\Illustrate

    More Precisely:
    HKCU\Software\Illustrate\dBpoweramp in a key named "CDRipper_Namings".

    Re: delete naming conventions

I do not have the Key that you mention in your reply.
When I look in the registry using REGEDIT I can see the following keys:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate\dBpowewramp
    \CDRipper\
    CDRipper\_DriveSettings
    CDRipper\Profiles\(default)
    CDRipper\Profiles\Compilation
    CDRipper\Profiles\Soundtrack
    \CodecOptions
    \dAP-KeyControl
    \DecoderCache
    \Ref
    \Skin
    Tagging
I do not see a key called "CDRipper_Namings" in the registry.
Can you give me an idea of what I may be doing wrong?
I am using dBpoweramp r13 reference registered version.
    Thanks

Of course just after posting this reply I found the key value you mentioned in your reply. I was only looking at the folders and did not look carefully enough into the folders to find the key.
    Thanks for your help.

    Re: delete naming conventions

For future reference, you can just type it in a search window within REGEDIT by pressing CTRL and F . It's saved me a ton of time from having to search up exact keys manually.

    Re: delete naming conventions

This is an old thread I found via search.

How do I delete the naming strings in the Mac version of dbpoweramp? I have several old strings that I no longer need. I don't see an option to do it in the application itself. Thanks.

I do not think you can selectively.

    Re: delete naming conventions

    Found it on mac.

Quit dbpoweramp and open the following file in a text editor and scroll to the bottom. You'll find the listings there:

    Code:
    ~/Library/dBpoweramp/XRegistry
Each folder path and naming convention is listed under the following names:

    Code:
    "dMCLastFolder-0"
    "dMCLastFolder-1"
    &*8230; and so forth

Delete the ones you don't want.
