Re: dBpoweramp Renaissance Discussions
Spoon,
I like how light this renderer is. I saw that replay gain dsp could be added. Is there any way to add a re-sampling dsp? A couple of my dacs don't support all of the sample rates so there are songs at the unsupported sample rates that won't play when using WASAPI (waveout of course works fine) (e.g. re-sample 192 K to 96K, and 176.4 K/88.2K to 44.1K).
I mostly use Asset UPnP - but last I checked it doesn't do sample rate conversion (that would also solve my problem). What's your prevailing philosophy on this - should the server or the render ideally provide this type of conversion?
Thanks!

Asset server can do this, if you set it to transcode to wave, you can specify a maximum frequency and bits.

Re: dBpoweramp Renaissance Discussions
The typelib for uPlayer makes it appear to be an OLE Automation object like DMCScripting and the uPlayer interfaces appear to be compatible with OLE Automation, but I can't locate the name of the automation object for uPlayer anywhere. Is there one? Some scripting languages like Perl expect one.

Re: dBpoweramp Renaissance Discussions
Hi,
sorry for grabbing this thread again. But I have the renaissance version 0.9 installed on windows 10.
I marked each executle with "compatible with windows 7". Everything works fine.
But I want to control the uplayer via vbs. But under windows 10 I cannot create the com object uplayer.uplayerdb ... (class not registered).
Any help on this ?
Thanks you very much
Regards
Ulli
