    Reference 12.4 Problem

    Can someone help?

    I've just bought CD ripper 12.4 reference. Installed it OK, but when ripping cds it causes my pc to keep rebooting? I'm running XP sp2

    I've tried the uninstall reboot/ clean up programme then reinstall but still no luck??

    Help please?????????????:(

    Check your CPU is not overheating, a computer which suddendly reboots is either:

    Hardware fault (such as overheating, ram error)
    or driver causing crashes.

      Pc only reboots when im using DB power amp cd ripper??

        Spoon gave you the pointer to the only two possible causes.

        Either malfunctioning hardware (or out of spec, such as temperature, due to misinstallation) or bugs in device drivers (see microsoft or your chipset maker to resolve).

        The crashes are not due to a defect in dbpoweramp.

          Or to put it a different way, on fully working XP system, I do not think I could get the computer to instantly reboot as you describe (with a normal, non device driver program), even if I tried.
