    Results, running on a stock speed AMD FX-8120 8-core machine (Asus Sabertooth FX990) with Win7/64:

    FLAC:
    362x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 22 seconds

    LAME:
    151x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 52,8 seconds

    ogg vorbis:
    99x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 1 minute 20 seconds

    I thought I would run it on the main AudioSAFE server (2x 6 core 2.8GHz Xeons 96GB of Memory)

    Using 16 CPU Cores

    Encoding To:
    mp3 (Lame)

    Outputting Results To: Screen

    375x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 21.3 seconds

    Just tried this on a new workstation. Twin 3.1Ghz Xeon E5-2687W CPUs, 32G RAM and a Samsung SATA3 250GB SSD

    To LAME
    549x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 14.6 seconds

    To FLAC
    778x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 10.3 seconds

    Intel Q9650 (quad-core 3.0GHz), 8GB RAM, Vista 64

    Time to Encode: 1 minute 13 seconds

    FLAC:
    242x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 33 seconds
    Because nothing like showing how much computers have changed in almost 12 years:
    Ryzen 9 3900X, 64GB RAM, Windows 10
    mp3 (Lame)
    14,234x Combined Realtime Encoding Speed
    Time to Encode: 562 mili-seconds
