spoon! 3.93.1 is out and stable.

www.mp3dev.org has a version that works (in theory) on dbpoweramp, but I don't know how to compile source yet. :thumbdown

mp3dev's version supports abr & vbr, thankfully.

it would be awesome if you got that up on codec central soon.

You can add it by downloading the win32 binaries and replacing the lame_enc.dll in the C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Compression\Lame folder (or its equivalent) with the one from the binary zip file.

Find a newer version of lame_enc.dll from the mentioned site and save it in:

C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Compression\Lame

Even when I replace the lame_enc.dll with version 3.93 or 3.93.1, if I go to 'dMC Configuration' it still reports the version of Lame as being 3.92. Is this because of the MP3 (Lame).dll located in C:\Program Files\dBpowerAMP\Compression?

Not really, Lame is the mp3 compressor - it will be upgraded when dMC Release 10 is released.
