    Normalizing mp3s

    Hello,

I want to normalize all my mp3 files. How do I do this? In an older version of dbpoweramp, there were a PowerPack link when I right clicked the file.

Now when I right click on a file, I just see Convert To and Edit ID-Tag.

I do have the latest full version installed.

    Please help.

    Thanks!

Install the DSP effects and use the Normalize DSP: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dbpoweramp-dsp.htm

    Thanks!

    Just did.

All I have to do is then right click on the file(s) and chose Convert To, add DSP and that's it?

Will it modify the file(s)? I know it will add 4 new tags but will it do some thing to the sample rate, bit rate, audio quality, etc.

One more question, do I need a special player to benefit from normalizing?

    Thanks again.

I think I got my answer from a previous post (Normalizing A to Z ).
