Pidgin: song title in status

It would be cool to have a Pidgin plug-in that extracts the song title of the current track from dBpowerAMP Audio Player and displays it in my screen name status. Similar to what these Pidgin plug-ins do for other media players...

there was talk before about a AIM plug-in. though it never took off.
I was experimenting, and had success with wireing dap with Miranda's php plugin, to display the current song. though I had to use an intermediate program which displays the track in it's title bar.

it could probably be applied to other programs too, but not sure how much work would it involve. maybe I could write a winamp emulator, that would have the same name as winamp's windows, though that is not easy in delphi...

anyway should at least publish the miranda version...
