    getting the comment field

Okay, here's the situation (Fresh Prince?)...
I have a bunch of FLAC files I want to convert to mp3 before I put them on my DAP.
Now, I always put the albums CAT# in the comment (description) field.
So I want to use the dynamic naming feature in batch convert so it creates the file like so:
    C:\[artist] - [album] ([comment])\[track] - [title]
So I should end up with something like so:
    C:\Madonna - Immaculate (WPCP-4000)\05 - Holiday.mp3
I just can't seem to get the comment to work. :vmad:
    Any help please.

    Try ([tag]comment[]) instead of [comment].

If you hold the mouse over the flac file, does dbpoweramp show the comment field?

        Re: getting the comment field

        LtData:
        [album] ([tag]comment[])\[track] - [title] <--- Didn't work :thumbdown
        [album] ([tag]COMMENT[])\[track] - [title] <--- Did work
So it looks like it needs to be in CAPS.

        Spoon:
Yes, dbpoweramp shows the field on mouse over.

That makes sense, as normally FLAC tag titles are in all caps.

Really it should make no difference, there could be a bug, I will look into it.

              Worth noting...
Every "Album Artist" tag became a "BAND" tag when it went from FLAC to mp3.
So, as an example I had an album with various artist so I put "Various Artist" in the "Album Artist" field.
After converting it to mp3, a new tag called "BAND" existed and in that tag it said "Various Artist" and the "Album Artist" tag was blank.
Now I know that the "Album Artist" tag is not an official tag but just showing my observation.
