Component to Read Tags!!!!!
Ok so I have downloaded dbPowerAmp and I am really glad that it does what it does because there are things I am planning on doing LATER!!! First though I need to get the !@#$ tags from each file.
This is scenario. I am building a asp/sql server web site that will list my music files and do all sort of neet stuff for me. This is one of those 'Just to see if I can projects!'. What I need to do first off those is enumerate through my 8000+ mp3 and wma files and get there tags, i.e. Artist, Title, Track number, yadda yadda yadda. I have searched all over and have had ZERO luck in getting a SERVER SIDE COMPILED DO NOT NEED TO KNOW C++ COMPONENT that I can instantiate and get the !@#$ values!
Can anyone please tell me where I can get such a component. I have search for nearly 10 hours and tried stuff from all over the web with no luck. Surely there is something out there. I must stress that this must be a component that I can instantiate server side in ASP on a IIS5 web server.
