    Problems burning 90 min CD

I have been trying to burn a 90 min CD. The total length of the playing list is 81 minutes and the file format is mp3. I have tried different speed (from the slowest to the middle) but, in the end, an error appears telling me the CD has not been written. I have burnt other CD of the same length (about 85 min.) without problems. What must I do?. The CD writer clearly supports this type of CD. Therefore the problems is not the writer.
    Thanks for your advice

Whenever you try to create a 90 minute CD, you have to first click on New CD, then click on Create New CD, and, in the menu that reads Standard Audio CD select 90 minutes. Have you done this?

    Best wishes,
    Bill

    Yes indeed.
The new definition of CD was made before I tried to burn the CD.

Talking Re: Problems burning 90 min CD

You're having problems with the disk closing I presume? Check my post on page 6 of forum dBpowerAMP/music converter/cdwriter dated 8-3 2004. Long story short, it's probably your writer. I was convinced it was not my writer until I went out and purchased a new one. I have been ripping and burning CD's with no problems or mods to the program ever since. :smile2:
    Hope this helps you out!

Yes. Thank you for your advice of not to send any more messages to support Forum. Where shall I send them?

The message at the bottom of my post is referring to "private messages", not to this forum. Sorry for the mix-up.

Re: Problems burning 90 min CD

I didn't sent any private messages; they were sent to the Forum. If you have understood something different it's no my problem. I'm asking for help from the many users of dBPower Amp, not your understanding of the problem. This is simply a matter of taste. If you think that asking people for help is not right in the dBPower Amp Forum, then, let me know who have I to address to.
    Sincerely

The message is at the bottom of every post I make. It was not directed at you. You are perfectly fine in posting your help queries here, that is the purpose of this forum.

You mention mp3, which type of audio cd are you creating, one that contains mp3 files, or one that plays on normal cd players (hi-fis)?

Also, what program are you trying to use to burn these CDs?

I'm using the dBPowerAMP to burn the CD on a standard 90 min audio CD. I play them on a normal CD player.
    Thanks four your advise.

90 is not a standard of cd writers, if you were able to write once then I guess you were lucky.
