Coverting .m4a to .oma
Hey,
Recently got new sony music player and am having problems transferring my old ipod music over to it. The ipod music is in Mpeg4 format and the new sony player requires it in .oma format. I have changed the extension of a few file names from .m4p to .oma but the sony player software still has a problem reading this.
Any ideas on how i solve this?
oh I've alot of music to convert so if you know of a way to convert this in bulk that would be great...thank you
Ps New to all this forum stuff... can ya tell...:-)

Re: Coverting .m4a to .oma
Changing the extensions alone won't do it, you need to convert your music to oma format. Your player should have came with software that will do this. dMC cannot convert to oma.
Also, if your music is .m4p then your music appears to be protected iTunes-purchased songs. See here for how to convert these songs to a different format: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=7423
