    How do you convert .FLV files? Do I need to install a specific codec?

    FLV is normally flash video. Try google for a converter

      They have FLV converters. Some of them cost money, but last I checked, there was one that's free. Look around the site - it should be helpful.

        Probably the best free video files converter is Super C at



        Beware, the download is slow! However, both FLV Player and VLC Player play FLV files.

            Yeah, it would be nice to be able to use dmc to right-click convert flv and swf audio to whatever and visa-versa. I mentioned this some time ago but didn't get a very positive response (http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=10826). The audio is mp3 in a flv/swf wrapper ... nothing too complicated ... extract the mp3 audio and convert.
            Why flv? Because it is becoming more and more popular not only for embedded video, but for audio also. flv because swf has a cap on the length of the clip whereas flv can handle much longer songs.
