    Covers

    Hello to everybody,

I have this problem: I have about 600 songs converted in Flac format from hundreds and hundreds cds and I would like to have their covers.

Do you know where are they stored? And if is possible to attach multiple covers instead of looking for one cover and than another cover and so on ?

Just for information, the name of the files have been stored one by one manually because I didn't have before the connection to web site, but any way I did in this way: Name of the Artist - Name of the song (ex. ZZ Top- Viva Las Vegas). If you open the ID-Tag you will see also the name of the Album.

    Thank you

    Bye

        Re: Covers

Currently, the only way to embed album art in existing files using dMC is one file at a time. Also, this must be done by hand and is not automatic.

There are other tools that will automatically update your files with album art. However, I have never personally used them and also do not know if they support FLAC.

In case I want to do this work one by one (but not rip again, just using one by one my 600 files) what do I need to do ?

With dMC r12, right-click on the file, click "Edit Tag", then scroll down and click "Add Album Art", I believe.

              Re: Covers

I tried in this way ("edit tag" and than "Add Album"), but I don't have the Album covers of my tracks so I cannot any album cover. With great effort I can attach one by one manually, but to do this I need to know where I can find these cover.

                Re: Covers

Currently we do not support Album art for FLAC (unless id3v2 tags are selected).

Amazon.com is a good source of album art.

                    Re: Covers

I'm not sure of the maximum size you can embed, but the CD Ripper can embed up to a 250x250 image.
