A strange thing - question

I have a MP3 player in my car and it will show the song title while that
song is playing. Well, most of the time!

On an older (about 8-10 months) MP3 CD, created with CDW, all the
titles will show but on a newer set, no titles show (i get "No TITLE",
showing instead). I dont think "SMART" has anything to do with this but
i dont know for sure.

My naming conventions used in the tags is the song title_initials of singer.
ex: ManInBlack_JC

In the tag, there is no artist info, its blank. In IDTAG, i see APEv2 &
ID3v1 & ID3v2.3

When i look at the CD on the PC it shows as: - ManInBlack_JC.
I dont know where the dash is coming from or if its part of this
problem.

Any ideas how to get the titles to show on the cd player?

I think the problem is that the file doesn't have artist info. Type something there and then see if it shows up correctly on your player.

Sorry, my bad!

The button (text) on the cd player has multiple settings, about 5 i think.
I just needed to cycle through the settings until the title shows.
