I Need Help Converting a wvx video to something else like mpeg wmv ect ect

I Have This Video

That i wanna convert it to mpeg or avi or wmv so then i can make a gif animation out of it

I am able to save it in my computer ... but how can a convert it to wmv or mpeg or any of those ... which program does that ??

.wvx is the meta file. After you save that open it in Notepad and you will find the link to the actual video file - possibly .wmv or .asf . That's the one you need to download.

However in that meta file you will find this link:

mms://gwms28.streamos.com/28/1d/03/1d0333101d9c88fb02cd816fa90a47d6-441ece24.asf?ts=1151389023&ttl=300&cs=CC3FBCB5B2C0 9014ADC96ADD750359DD00F72DD8

This is the actual video file (an .asf ) - but it's from a streaming server (mms:// ) so you cannot download it.

You need a program like SDP to capture it. http://sdp.ppona.com/

http://sdp.ppona.com its amazing ! ... the program was kindda of confusing at first i didnt know what to do ... but then i got and its like a miracle ... it converted the file to windows and then i convert it to avi and then from avi to .gif and then finally i got my animation
